Restorative Yoga Techniques for Teachers Weekend Immersion CPD | Yoga Jo's Milngavie | 20th & 21st April 2024

Restorative Yoga Techniques for Teachers Weekend Immersion CPD
With Melissa Corazon

Saturday 20th April 10 am- 5 pm
Sunday 21st April 10 am - 5pm
Cost: £200 12 hours CPD

Immerse yourself in a relaxing and informative weekend of restorative yoga. Restorative yoga uses props and bolsters to support the body, creating the potential for deep rest and relaxation. The postures are held for much longer than in many other styles, which makes it an extremely powerful practice for unwinding tension and restoring our energy levels if we’re feeling fatigued.

During the course you will have the chance to experience the practice of restorative yoga, engage in group work and discussions on the practicalities of teaching and take part in posture workshops. The course will also include a comprehensive manual as an accompaniment to the practical aspect of the course. The course will give you the tools to:

 - Establish your own restorative yoga practice.

- Understand how to use yoga props to enhance rest and relaxation in a range of postures.

 - Confidently introduce a restorative element to your general classes and with your 1-2-1 students.

- Understand how to adapt the practice for different students.

The course is suitable for anyone who has completed their 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and has an interest in Restorative Yoga. You will be given a certificate for 12 hours of CPD.
